The Uniting Divine Sistahs (UDS) program, derived from the UDS Retreat established in 2006, is a Fall semester program dedicated to empowering African American women of all classifications at Texas A&M University by providing culturally relevant information.
Designed to develop leadership capacity and explore socially constructed identities, this program is an expansion of the original UDS retreat. The program focuses on:
- Leading in diverse organizations.
- Promoting healthy body image.
- Challenging socially established gender norms and roles.
- Building camaraderie and professional networking opportunities among women from diverse backgrounds.
Hazing Prevention Workshop
This workshop is mandatory for anyone interested in joining a Greek Lettered Organization within the NPHC. Attendance is a requirement to be eligible for the membership intake process.
Frequency: NPHC hosts 2–4 sessions each semester.
Schedule: Specific dates and times will be posted at the beginning of each semester.
Purpose: To ensure potential members understand what constitutes hazing, how to detect it, and where to report it prior to joining an organization.
Attire: Business Casual is required. Participants in inappropriate attire will be denied entry.

Business Casual Attire Standards
General: Slacks, chinos, or khakis paired with a button-down shirt, polo, or professional blouse.
Footwear: Loafers, dress shoes, or professional flats/boots.
